Celebrating our students
Commencement 2024 will be held on the Commencement Green on the Linfield University McMinnville Campus. Commencement will begin at 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 26.
If you are a student participating in Commencement, you are asked to report to the Ted Wilson Gymnasium in the HHPA Building by 9 a.m. on Sunday wearing your academic regalia.
Linfield faculty and staff who are marching are asked to report to the Fred Meyer Lounge in Riley Hall by 9:15 a.m.
Families attending the ceremony should find seats by 9:45 a.m. Provided the ceremony is held outdoors, there are no tickets required. Typically, Commencement at Linfield concludes around 12:30 p.m., followed by a reception in the Oak Grove. The ceremony will also be streamed on the university's YouTube channel.
In the case of severe weather, the ceremony would be moved indoors to Ted Wilson Gymnasium. However, the last time Commencement was indoors was 1990.
