In Person - $350
WSET regulations mandate 6 hours of guided learning time for the Level 1 Qualification:
The Intensive Format meets that requirement in one session which meets for 7 hours with a 1-hour break for lunch. The 45-minute exam is held at the end of the session.
The Weekly Format comprises three 2-hour sessions which meet once a week for three consecutive weeks. The 45-minute exam is held at the end of the final (third) session.
There is no textbook for Level 1 and the course workbook is provided at the first session.
Wine and food samples and all other course materials are included in the registration fee.

Online - $250
Students are provided with access to the WSET Online Classroom and proceed at their own pace in this asynchronous format. During the date range listed for each course, the required guided learning hours are provided in the form of support & feedback from a UK based WSET Instructor and there is a pre-Exam live remote support session with a Linfield WSET instructor.
The Level 1 workbook is integrated into the online module and not provided separately.
The exam is delivered online, at the date and time listed, and requires a stable high speed internet connection, a second internet enabled device (smart phone or tablet) and a private space in your home or office.
The registration fee does not include wine. A WSET-approved Sample Kit can be ordered during registration for $135, which includes direct shipping. Those that do not purchase the Kit will need to purchase or otherwise source the (10) wines necessary to complete the course activities.
