Advanced Placement

The information below identifies how credit is awarded for each of the Advanced Placement content areas. Linfield awards 4 credits for each Advanced Placement exam when a score of 4 or 5 is earned. Students may count up to a total of 31 credits from Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, and other non-course credits towards the 125 required for graduation.

Note: Credits from any one AP exam may be used to apply only one general education area or a degree (BA or BS). If an AP subject has more than one area listed you can choose where you would like it to apply. (Download PDF table)
