ABOUT THE OREGON CERTIFIED PUBLIC MANAGER® PROGRAM (OCPM)
The Oregon Certified Public Manager program is a nationally certified development program for local and state governmental leaders. This comprehensive training program will prepare managers for federal, state and local government careers. Linfield University will deliver the official Certified Public Manager® Program (CPM) certification program for the state of Oregon.
Those earning the Certified Public Manager® designation are eligible to become members of the American Academy of Certified Public Managers.

PUBLIC MANAGEMENT ACADEMY
Tuition: $2,700
The Public Management Academy (PMA) offers:
- A comprehensive one-year program designed to enhance managers’ supervisory and management skills.
- Participants will engage in 19 customized workshops and undertake a capstone project.
- The program not only equips managers with a robust public sector toolkit but also provides hands-on experience through real-world process improvement projects.
- The inaugural cohort is scheduled to commence on September 10, 2024.
LEADERSHIP ACADEMY
Tuition: $3,300
The Leadership Academy (LA) stands out as the foremost public sector leadership development program in the region.
- Tailored specifically for public sector leaders, including elected officials, public administrators, and nonprofit executives.
- This cohort comprises 12 full-day sessions, convening once a month.
- Topics span a wide range of leadership issues, including strategic planning, collaboration, change management, and contemporary challenges.
- In addition to the monthly sessions, participants will be actively involved in executing a community engagement project that directly impacts the region or state.
- The project phase involves developing a scope, action plan, and successful implementation within the program year.
- The inaugural cohort is scheduled to commence following the Public Management Academy.

Refund Policy
Refund to original payment is made at 100% when a registrant cancels attendance at least two business-days prior to the start of the first class. Alternatively, the registrant can choose to transfer paid tuition to a later, equivalent course of their choosing within the same college or school at no additional cost when giving a two business-day cancellation notice. Requests must be submitted to School of Business.
Cancellation Policy
Linfield University reserves the right to cancel a workshop and refund the workshop fee in the event that there are an insufficient number of registrants.
