Meet Psychology Student Ambassador Danny

Hello! My name is Danny McCann!

I am in my final year at Linfield University, majoring in psychology and theatre arts. After graduation, I plan to go on to graduate school and am looking to get either a master's in school counseling or EdS in school psychology.

In the past I have been an office assistant for the psychology department, as well as being a teaching assistant for PSYC 101 with Dr. Ray. I have been interested in psychology since I was in high school and wanted to be a bit more involved in the department before I graduate so I am excited to be an ambassador this year! Within psychology, my interests are mostly in developmental psychopathology, with a heavy focus on young adults.

Outside of psychology, I’m a big theatre person (you can usually find me in Ford Hall) and play a lot of Dungeons and Dragons. I live off campus with my partner and my one-eyed cat Summer.
