Michelle Nelson joined the faculty of Linfield in 2000. She has taught courses in marketing, marketing research, social entrepreneurship, international business and related topics. She also serves as internship supervisor for the School of Business.
Michelle has extensive international work experience in Europe and Asia. She has lead January Term courses to Germany, Austria, Japan, Korea, South Africa and Argentina. She has founded a nonprofit that places assistance dogs with veterans and has raised more than $1M through her fundraising and grant writing. She is a certified professional dog trainer and you will often see her with various service dogs in training on campus.
Her research interests include cross-cultural studies, entrepreneurial behavior and direct marketing by entrepreneurs.
