Lindsay Schnell is an award-winning sports reporter at USA TODAY, where she’s worked since 2017. As an enterprise reporter, she lets curiosity drive her, pitching and executing stories readers haven’t seen before, including pieces on:
- How professional female athletes are changing the landscape of pro sports ownership
- A deep dive on how Roe vs. Wade being overturned will impact women’s sports

Previously at USA TODAY Lindsay worked full-time in news, investigating why rates of sexual assault and domestic violence are so high in Alaska and explaining how international students are critical to the U.S. economy, among other stories. She previously worked at Sports Illustrated, The Oregonian and ESPN.com, and appeared regularly on NBC Northwest Sports. Lindsay currently lives in Portland, Oregon.
