As a secondary instructional coach and classroom teacher of grades 3-8 for more than 30 years, Laurie has experience in helping teachers meet the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse students. Designing and coordinating a New Teacher Academy, she provided professional development and mentoring to early career teachers of grades K-12. She is a certified CM Trainer, Effective Teaching Strategies Trainer and has certification and experience in implementing SIOP.
