Christine Bader is author of “The Evolution of a Corporate Idealist: When Girl Meets Oil” (Routledge 2014) and was Amazon’s first director of social responsibility from 2015-17. She served as advisor to the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Representative for business and human rights from 2006-2011 and previously worked for energy giant BP in Indonesia, China and the U.K.
She was a contributing writer for The Atlantic and delivered a TED talk in 2014, as well as a TEDxMcMinnville talk at Linfield in January 2020. She served on McMinnville’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisory Committee and is head coach for the McMinnville-based Valley Panthers girls high school rugby club.
