Chemeketa Scholars at Linfield Scholarship

Students participating in the Chemeketa Scholars program at Chemeketa Community College will be considered for a Chemeketa Scholars at Linfield Scholarship.

  • Consideration for the Chemeketa Scholars at Linfield Scholarship is given to admitted transfer students with at least a 3.000 cumulative college GPA.
  • A separate application is not required. However, the Office of Admission or the Office of Financial Aid will verify participation in the Chemeketa Scholars program.
  • The award is renewable at the same dollar amount for two years of continuous full-time enrollment at Linfield.
  • Up to 10 Chemeketa Scholars at Linfield Scholarships are available annually. Students are only eligible to receive either a Transfer Scholarship or a Chemeketa Scholars at Linfield Scholarship.

Educator Recognition Award

Linfield values the dedication, hard work and invisible labor that educators, many of which are Linfield alumni, invest in student development. Beginning fall 2023, the Educator Recognition Award is granted to first-year and transfer students starting their Linfield studies on the McMinnville Campus whose parent or spouse are current K-12 educators. We believe educators in all K-12 roles make impactful contributions in the lives of students and are uniquely positioned to help future Wildcats thrive at Linfield.

In appreciation of the educator commitment to students, Linfield will award an additional $1,000 scholarship renewable for four years while students meet satisfactory academic progress toward graduation.

Honor Society Scholarships

Members of Phi Theta Kappa (two-year college honor society) or Alpha Gamma Sigma (California Community College honor society) are eligible for an honor society scholarship up to $3,000.

  • Consideration for the honor society scholarship is given to admitted transfer students with at least a 3.000 cumulative college GPA.
  • A separate application is not required. However, please notify the Office of Admission or Financial Aid that the honor society membership is current.
  • Entering first-year students are not eligible to receive this scholarship.
  • The honor society scholarship is renewable each year at the same dollar amount if the student maintains a 3.000 Linfield cumulative GPA and applies for renewal in a timely manner.
  • Students are not eligible to receive multiple honor society scholarships if they are members of more than one honor society.
  • Students receiving either a Transfer scholarship or a Chemeketa Scholars at Linfield scholarship are eligible to receive an honor society scholarship.
