Timothy Sullivan Instructional Associate and Pre-Med Advisor

Tim Sullivan teaches courses in biology and microbiology. He also serves as the Pre-Med advisor. Though he does not have an active research program at Linfield his interests are in viral mediated gene therapy treatments. Tim has conducted research at multiple institutions including the UT Health Science Center, St Jude’s Children’s Hospital, and the Hamilton Eye Institute. His findings have led to the generation of a patent for a gene therapy treatment for glaucoma. Without reservation, he considers interacting with and inspiring his students to be the most rewarding aspect of his career thus far.
