Linfield University offers a flexible degree pathway to a bachelor's degree in education in as little as two years! This program is designed for working adults who want to teach elementary school, K-12 special education, or K-12 English language development (ESOL). Courses take place in the evenings on-campus or online and you can begin during any term throughout the year.

This program is designed for:
- Those seeking an initial teaching license and/or a bachelor's degree in education
- K-12 staff, such as paraprofessionals or instructional assistants who are interested in a teaching license and a career in education
- Those currently in an education program at an Oregon community college
- Those who need to keep working full or part-time while going to school.
If you currently hold a bachelor’s degree in a major outside of education or an AAOT degree with pre-education coursework at an Oregon community college, you can complete the program in two years.

If you want to earn your first degree in education online please sign up for an informational session to learn more and ask specific questions. These reoccurring sessions are held during the summer on Wednesdays at 10 a.m.

After completing the general education and pre-education coursework at any Oregon community college, or through a previously earned bachelor’s degree, you can transfer your coursework to Linfield. You'll then complete 10-14 courses here plus student-teaching in a classroom setting.
